As Wes said I do have the first part of Chapter One in hand, late Saturday evening. The last few days have been a real joy!

Wednesday afternoon I got another of those bombshell projects that I cannot detail here but can describe in magnitude. It would normally be about a 2 month development test and implement cycle.

I got 2 WEEKS due to picking this up from a failed project that is of course way behind. This means a lot of my “home” time is going into software testing and general kludge engineering. Then Momma Nature decided to get into the game!

Thursday night we got hit with the worst winter storm on record since before Arizona was even a freaking State. The power was off for 60% of the entire city for over four hours and was surging up and down for the rest. That meant one lost night of work and was the reason the site was down that night.

That brings us to Friday and Saturday! Have I ever mentioned IDIOTS who will not buy UPS systems for their core computer systems? Why I think I have on many occasions!

Every freaking IDIOT who had not listened to me had system damage from Thursday night. So I spent Friday and Saturday fixing problems that I had in no way caused.

Oh well, it pays the bills!
