I haven’t done one of these for a while but now is the time. I saw this at the Volokh Conspiracy and it fit right in with the way I feel about robots and high tech stuff.

After seeing the cartoon I looked at the website xkcd – A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language – By Randall Munroe. and looked at some of the other drawings. Very, Very, good. I think I must link to this place on our side bar.

A few years ago I wrote something for Colony Achibah that had a similar sense of loss. It never got posted on Alchibah but I did put it up at the FutureVerse. On the site there I have it posted there as — An Alchibah Epilogue. I still come close to tears each time I read that story.
